Background:  Traditionally found in the marshy areas of Southeast Asia and Australia, this herb has been utilized as a topical and internal wound healer for centuries.  Containing a mixture of terpenoid glycosides, Centella Asiatica has proven to heal ugly skin lesions by promoting a rapid thickening of the skin and increasing blood supply to the connective tissue. Centella Asiatica works as an anti-aging treatment by increasing skin firmness, elasticity, and wrinkle reduction
